EnColl has developed a DNA-infused gel of modified collagen (CollatrixTM) for use as a delivery matrix in gene therapy. In addition to gene delivery, more products would require CollatrixTM for the delivery of cytokines like growth factors and certain drugs like insulin as well as anti-microbial agents. This collagen based matrix has greater biocompatibility and bioactivity than other available products.
